Kevin Glover - Mayor

I want to thank Caffrey Tree and Landscape for your support of the Township's "Family Friday Night at the Movies", now in its second year because of popular demand from the community at large and because of your support and sponsorship for such a wonderful welcoming event.

Your participation in this very well attended family friendly welcoming event is well noted and appreciated, and so it is with great pleasure that I extend to you on behalf of my township's citizens and myself a heartfelt thank you.

The College Club of Fanwood-Scotch Plains

Dear Bob,

Thanks again, and a warm welcome to the three new advertisers who joined us this year. We are again at full capacity - 103 - with a waiting list for next years calendar! To all our 100 renewing advertisers, and especially, the eighteen banner advertisers, and the four major sponsors, thank you for your continued, kind, much appreciated financial assistance toward one of College Club's major objectives, the awarding of college scholarships to young women who reside in Fanwood or Scotch Plains. Many other residents - at least 1000 families who purchase the calendar - also benefit from this long-standing community service project because of its usefulness.

Your support is very important to us and we welcome any comments you have to improve the ads for next year. In the meantime, we will readily and gratefully refer to our Advertisers' Directory.

Best wishes for a successful year,

Mari McDevitt

Westlake School

On behalf of the students and staff of Westlake School, I would like to thank you for your generous support of our Annual School Carnival.

Man of our children, due to physical, emotional or financial limitations, are unable to benefit from the activities offered in their communities. With your help we were able to provide our students with a truly memorable experience. It is wonderful to see our communities supporting our school. Once again, thank you from all of us at Westlake School.

The Township of Scotch Plains

It gives me great pleasure to write and share with you that this year's Mayor's Charity Gala was a phenomenal success, and also to thank you for the thoughtful and generous contribution you made to it. This, the "24th Annual Gala", continues a tradition that recognizes and honors our valued volunteers for their wonderful selfless accomplishments. Congregation Beth Israel

Dear Friend,

On behalf of the entire membership of Congregation Beth Israel, we would like to thank you for your recent donations/sponsorship made in support of our Evening of Mentalism with Oz Pearlman on February 27, 2016. This event, our biggest fundraiser of the year was a huge success and could not have been made possible without your generosity and support.

All of the proceeds from this event will help Congregation Beth Israel continue to provide the quality programs and events to both our members and non-members living in and around the community.

Again, we thank you for your generosity and we hope we can count on your support in the future.

Elisabeth Jackson - Bridge Over Troubled Waters

Thank you so much for your contribution of $150, in support of the VJ Golf Tournament, to Bridge Over Troubled Waters that we received on October 29, 2015, to support our wrap-around continuum of care for runaways and homeless youth. For vulnerable and troubled young people with nowhere else to turn, Bridge often is the only option for them to gain the survival aid, counseling, education and job development, and supportive counseling they need to achieve real social and economic self-sufficiency. Your gift this year makes a critical difference in helping Bridge to meet growing needs

Since its founding 45 years ago, Bridge has remained one of the premier agencies in the country for serving homeless youth and young adults, addressing a broad array of personal, family and community problems which result in homelessness among youth. Bridge is a strong component of the continuum of care for homeless persons in Boston and one of the major providers of life-changing services and transitional housing for the younger homeless population. Our staff participates actively with the City and the State to set priorities for homeless services and advocates for recognition of homeless youth and young adults as a distinct population which needs specific, dedicated services to overcome risks and prevent long-term, chronic homelessness.

Your support helps to ensure Bridge's capacity to fulfill its mission and continue to make progress in meeting the ever-changing needs of an often -overlooked population of youth. Today, Bridge is seeing an increasingly vulnerable group of young people, who come to us with severe emotional and psychological disorders, educational training needs, and trauma from experiences at home and on the streets. We are grateful for your continuing partnership to ensure that innovative and effective services will remain available and easily accessible for young people in need.

Joanne Liscovitz - Dance For The Cure

Thank you for the Cheesecake Factory gift card valued at $50.00 in support of this year's Ribbons of Hope event held on October 22, 2015. your contribution helps Dance for the Cure continue its mission of helping local families impacted by breast cancer.

This year's 10th Ribbons of Hope even was another huge success! Over $63,000 was raised to help those who have found themselves in difficult circumstances because of their breast cancer diagnosis. All monies are distributed directly to these local families who are struggling financially due to high medical expenses and loss of employment.

The North Plainfield HS Football/Cheerleader Booster Club

On behalf of everyone at North Plainfield HS Football/Cheerleader Booster Club, we would like to thank you for your very generous sponsorship. It has infused the entire season with a sense of participation by the entire community.

Our first annual "5K the Canuck Way" was a tremendous success. It was not just well received by the participants, but the supporters that came along and enjoyed the day's festivities.

With your contribution, we are able to provide the teams with new safety equipment, uniforms, meals, scholarships, and the awards annual banquet. Without your generosity, we would not be able to continue the goal of a successfully run program. Thank you for your involvement and participation in our program.
